Billing & Token Policy

Last updated July 19, 2026

This page describes how AsgineAI’s implemented token and membership systems behave. Payment-provider terms and applicable consumer rights continue to apply.

1. Visible balances and spending

You manage Chat Tokens, Creation Tokens and General Tokens. Internally, matching balances distinguish free from paid credits. Auto spends free matching tokens first, paid matching tokens second and General Tokens third. A manually selected source is used only when it can cover the interaction under the displayed rules. If a confirmed refund or dispute creates an outstanding token adjustment, Free Tokens remain visible but cannot be spent until the adjustment is settled; eligible paid balances may still be used.

2. Live token configuration, prices and confirmation

Interaction costs, starter balances, daily rewards, allocation presets, token products and membership plans are centrally configured. AsgineAI may change Chat, Creation or General Token prices, package amounts, action costs and plan values prospectively at any time and without stating a reason. The same active values power customer-facing labels and server-side grants or charges. Checkout creates an immutable order snapshot of product, token amount, original price, discount and final price; later catalog changes do not alter that order. Credit occurs only after a signed provider event confirms the exact amount and currency.

3. One-time top-ups and type exchange

Chat and Creation top-ups are matching balances. General top-ups can fund either interaction type. Top-ups are one-time purchases and do not create a recurring membership. A self-purchased Chat or Creation top-up can be exchanged to the other matching type only while the complete provider-confirmed grant remains untouched. A completed spend of any tracked token from that order ends exchange eligibility; tokens restored after a failed technical action restore the corresponding untouched amount. The token amount, price, purchaser and provider order do not change, and a later provider reversal follows the exchanged balance. General Tokens, gifted top-ups, membership grants and partially debt-settled grants cannot be exchanged.

4. Memberships and allocation

Paid memberships renew through the configured payment provider until cancelled there. Before starting or changing a Premium or Creator membership, checkout shows the exact Chat Token and Creation Token amounts and saves that split with the membership order. The saved split is used for the first confirmed grant and future renewals. A recipient can later change the allocation for future grants from Membership & Tokens; already credited tokens are not moved. Asgine monthly grants use General Tokens and therefore do not require a Chat/Creation split.

5. Cancellation, bans and plan changes

A normal scheduled cancellation can keep access active through the provider-confirmed period end. An account ban is different: every active membership bought by or delivered to that account is cancelled immediately, the local tier is removed and provider cancellation is queued with idempotent retries. Unbanning does not restore the cancelled subscription. A completed cancellation does not silently erase paid token balances that were not part of a reversal. Plan changes are handled through the provider portal when an active provider membership exists.

6. Refunds, disputes and token adjustments

A refund-review request does not itself cancel an order, promise eligibility or move tokens. AsgineAI does not offer a refund merely because an AI result is inaccurate, inconsistent, repetitive, undesirable, creatively unsatisfying or otherwise not what the user hoped for after the action was delivered. Applicable mandatory consumer rights, genuine non-delivery, payment-provider rules and other legally relevant circumstances may still affect the outcome. Only a confirmed provider refund or chargeback changes payment state. The complete associated grant is then reversed; unavailable value becomes a matching token adjustment. Free Tokens cannot be spent while an adjustment remains, and later matching credits settle it first.

7. Discount codes

A code can be limited to token products, memberships or one product; it can also have a start, expiration, total-use limit and per-account limit. A valid code reserves one use while checkout is pending so parallel orders cannot exceed its limit. The reservation is redeemed only after payment confirmation and released after a failed, cancelled or stale order. Deleting a code prevents future use but does not rewrite completed order snapshots or redemption records; a code reserved by a pending checkout cannot be deleted until that reservation is released or redeemed. Codes have no cash value and cannot be combined unless checkout explicitly says otherwise.

8. Gifts

Eligible token products and memberships can be purchased for a specific verified username. The order belongs to the purchaser for billing and provider management, while value is delivered to the recipient only after payment confirmation. All gifts are final: AsgineAI provides no voluntary refund even when gifted tokens have not been spent, and incorrect recipients cannot be redirected after delivery. If a payment provider nevertheless enforces a refund, chargeback or fraud reversal, still-available gifted tokens are removed from the recipient first without creating recipient debt. Any shortfall is recovered from the purchaser and may create an outstanding purchaser token adjustment. Membership access tied to the reversed gift ends. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

9. AI action pricing and rejected actions

Fast and Pro actions can have different token costs. Image generation uses its displayed fixed cost and does not use the Fast/Pro choice. The active page’s top bar or generation dialog is the authoritative pre-action display. Delivered AI output remains charged regardless of subjective quality, usefulness, style, accuracy or satisfaction. Technical failures that provide no paid action use the technical refund path. A request rejected under the active Safety Rule or by a provider policy review also remains charged because the paid review work was performed and logged.

10. Records and support

Membership & Tokens lists local order IDs, states, untouched-top-up eligibility and token activity. Refund review opens a timestamped Support request with the paid token order preselected. Keep the order ID when asking about any payment. Do not send passwords or full payment credentials. Account export includes eligible local billing records but excludes provider secrets and another user’s private payment information.
